Camellia Paul

About the Artist

Camellia Paul is a PhD student of Comparative and World Literature at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is also a creative writer and visual artist with her works regularly appearing in magazines, journals, and anthologies. She has presented award-winning research on “Bengal owlscapes” in South Korea, recently published by Bloomsbury. Her areas of research and publication include environmental humanities, ecocriticism, Multispecies Studies, myth and folklore, Comparative Literature, and Translation Studies. Apart from being passionate about Nature, art, and owls, Camellia loves reading, listening to music, and exploring cultures.
